Internal Sales – Electrical Supplies

About this role

Our Client a trusted provider of high-quality electrical supplies, delivering a wide range of products to industries including construction. Are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic internal sales Representative to join our growing team and contribute to their sales targets.

Role Overview:
As an Internal sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving sales by contacting existing and prospective customers within the electrical supplies sector. You will be responsible for generating leads, providing product information, processing orders, and delivering outstanding customer service over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote our electrical products and services (Full training available).
  • Qualify leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Provide accurate product information and answer customer inquiries effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring repeat business.
  • Process customer orders, ensuring all details are accurate and complete.
  • Work closely with the internal sales team to meet sales targets and customer demands.
  • Keep detailed records of all customer interactions using the CRM system.
  • Follow up on quotes and proposals to close sales and secure orders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, handling any complaints or issues promptly.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest product offerings and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport over the phone.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet sales targets.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and other sales tools.
  • Results-driven and motivated by sales targets and commission opportunities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in B2B telesales or sales within the electrical, construction, or trade sectors.
  • Knowledge of electrical products and their applications is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
