Internal Sales Representative
About the job
Develops new business and maintains existing business within an assigned territory, working closely with outside sales to achieve profitable growth within the assigned territory.
Plays a fundamental role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives by advancing the sales process while providing exceptional customer service.
Qualify new business opportunities
Communicate sizeable business opportunities to the outside sales executive for follow-up; provide market intelligence to the commercial manager.
Complete customer quotation requests.
Ensure a smooth sales process by communicating and seeking guidance and approval from sales management on rates when necessary.
Expedite the resolution of customer questions, problems, or complaints to ensure satisfaction.
Key Skills: -
Logistics background preferred. Inside sales experience ideal but not necessity.
Ability to create mutually beneficial customer relationships
Strong phone presence; excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
